PC Purchasing: Recommended Requirements

Purchasing a computer can be confusing, there are many configurations, brands, and options to choose from. It's important that the computer is configured to meet the needs of your use-case. When a PC is purchased through Masiero it's carries a next business day onsite warranty from the manufacturer. You can also be certain that the computer will meet requirements. If you choose to purchase a PC from another vendor, below is a guide to follow to assist in deciding a config.

Recommended PC Specifications:
CPU: Intel i3 or higher (6th generation of newer)
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 256GB SSD (with a bigger size as needed)
Operating System: Windows 10 Professional

• Purchase a business grade PC and not consumer grade. Business grade PCs undergo rigorous testing and make use of higher quality components. The warranty claim process is also much easier and efficient to facilitate if needed.
• We recommend Lenovo and HP secondary in terms of manufacturer.
• Ensuring the PC has a professional version of Microsoft Windows is important for ensuring the PC will support Remote Desktop and/or join an Active Directory Domain, typically found in business networks.
