Introduction
Call-Forwarding will redirect originating calls to the organization to an alternative destination. Call-forwarding can be hard-coded into an organization's call-flow with predetermined phone numbers or can be managed to allow for manual entry when needed. We refer to this feature as Variable Call-Forwarding.
Set Destination Phone Number
A destination phone number must be entered into the Masiero Voice system to be used for call-forwarding. Once the destination phone number has been entered, the system will save the entry for present or future use. A password is required to enter a destination phone number, please contact team@masiero.tech for assistance.
- Dial *61.
- Enter password.
- The auto-attendant will announce, "Enter the ten-digit phone number for call forwarding".
- Enter ten-digit destination phone number.
Note, the destination phone number cannot be entered as a seven-digit or eleven-digit phone number. - The system will playback the ten-digit phone number entered.
- The system disconnects automatically.
The ten-digit destination phone number has been saved.

Enable/Disable Call-forwarding using Destination Phone Number
A destination phone number will need to be set to allow for call-forwarding to be enabled/disabled. Call-forwarding uses the same star code (*66) to turn the feature on and off. A password is required to enable/disable call-forwarding, please contact team@masiero.tech for assistance.
Enable Call-Forwarding
- Dial *66.
- Enter password.
- Auto-attendant will announce, "Enabled".
- The system will automatically disconnect.
Call-Forwarding has been enabled using the destination phone number entered.
Disable Call-Forwarding
- Dial *66.
- Enter password.
- Auto-attendant will announce, "Disabled".
- The system will automatically disconnect.
Call-Forwarding has been disabled. Destination phone number has been unchanged.
